Websites to help your students with 5th grade standards: Reading www.bookadventure.com *Click on Book List on the right hand side *Click on the link that says Find a Book by Reading Level and Category. Choose the grade level and type of book your child likes to read and it gives you lots of great ideas. This is helpful for those students who have difficulty finding books they are interested in at their level.
You can also get there by doing a Google search “STATES GAMES.” It’s the first link. Focus on the States section. These are fun games to help them memorize the names of the states and their locations.
To Access the In-class Math Text (Student Activity Guide) Go to Think Central https://www-k6.thinkcentral.com/ePC/start.do Put in state, district and school. Students can log on with graduation year, last name, first initial. (password is their student number).
